The Internet Stars strives to deliver search results that provide accurate information about the content of Web pages. Accordingly, we reserve the right to remove and/or to disable links to a Web site or Web page to which the Internet Stars has determined, in its sole discretion, that improper steps have been taken to manipulate the Internet Stars' search results.

We are sometimes asked to remove links or newsgroup postings. We address these requests on a case-by-case basis and in general, follow the guidelines below:
We identify, index and catalog Web sites automatically with software, which means there is no advance review by human beings. Given the enormous volume of information added to and changed on the Web on a daily basis, we cannot operate in any other way. This means that we do not screen information posted to the Site.

In general, we believe that people who make information available on the Web expect that it will be available publicly and indexed for distribution, much like the Internet Stars indexes information to make it available for its users. If you want to restrict access to your site, please let us know. If you do not let us know and take steps to prevent it, it is likely that our software will find it and index it again. DISCLAIMER REGARDING THIRD PARTY CONTENT
The the Internet Stars Network offers access to numerous third party web pages and content available over the Internet. In overwhelming majority instances, including, but not limited to, sites displayed as search results or contained within a directory of links, the Internet Stars has no control whatsoever over the content of such sites. In other instances, including, but not limited to, web pages hosted on the the Internet Stars Network or provided to the the Internet Stars Network by third parties, the Internet Stars may set guidelines for what may appear on such web pages and may engage in certain screening, but generally exercises no control over the content of such web pages and is unable to police all such content. Third party content accessible through the the Internet Stars Network from such sources is developed by people over whom the the Internet Stars Network exercises no control. The search results that appear from the catalogs indexed by the the Internet Stars Network's spiders or web robots are automated, and the the Internet Stars Network cannot and does not screen the sites before including them in the catalogs from which such automated search results are gathered. Similarly, web pages hosted by the the Internet Stars Network are posted by third parties, and, with the exception of certain automated screening functions, the Internet Stars cannot and does not screen such web pages before they are made accessible to other users of the the Internet Stars Network. FORUMS AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION
"Forum" means a chat area, bulletin board, or e-mail function offered as part of the Internet Stars. You shall not upload to, distribute through, or otherwise publish through the Internet Stars any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable that would constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party, or that would otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law.

The Forums shall be used only in a noncommercial manner. You shall not, without our express written approval, distribute or otherwise publish any material containing any solicitation of funds, promotion, advertising, or solicitation for goods or services. You specifically acknowledge that soliciting other the Internet Stars guests to join or become members of any commercial online service or other organization is expressly prohibited.

It is our policy to respect the privacy of all guests. Therefore, in addition to the privacy of Registration data, we will not monitor, edit, or disclose the contents of a guest's e-mail unless required in the course of normal maintenance of the Internet Stars and its systems or unless required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: comply with the law or comply with legal process served on the Internet Stars; protect and defend the rights or property of the Internet Stars; or act in an emergency to protect the personal safety of our guests or the public. Guests shall remain solely responsible for the content of their messages.

By uploading materials to any Forum or submitting any materials to us, you automatically grant (or warrant that the owner of such materials has expressly granted) us a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and distribute such materials or incorporate such materials into any form, medium, or technology now known or later developed throughout the universe. In addition, you warrant that all so-called "moral rights" in those materials have been waived.

Never assume people are who the say they are, know what they say they know, or are affiliated with whom they say they are affiliated with in any chat room, message board, or other user generated content area. SUCH LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SHALL ALSO APPLY TO ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY LOSS OF ACCESS TO, DELETION OF, FAILURE TO STORE, FAILURE TO BACK UP, OR ALTERATION OF MEMBER WEB PAGES OR OTHER CONTENT STORED THROUGHT THE THE INTERNET STARS NETWORK. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE INTERNET STARS BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DELAY OR FAILURE IN PERFORMANCE RESULTING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM ACTS OF NATURE, FORCES, OR CAUSES BEYOND ITS REASONABLE CONTROL, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, INTERNET FAILURES, COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FAILURES, TELECOMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT FAILURES, OTHER EQUIPMENT FAILURES, ELECTRICAL POWER FAILURES, STRIKES, LABOR DISPUTES, RIOTS, INSURRECTIONS, CIVIL DISTURBANCES, SHORTAGES OF LABOR OR MATERIALS, FIRES, FLOODS, STORMS, EXPLOSIONS, ACTS OF GOD, WAR, GOVERNMENTAL ACTIONS, ORDERS OF DOMESTIC OR FOREIGN COURTS OR TRIBUNALS, NON-PERFORMANCE OF THIRD PARTIES, OR LOSS OF OR FLUCTUATIONS IN HEAT, LIGHT, OR AIR CONDITIONING.
